About this journey
Thirteen days across four of Zambia’s finest wilderness areas, moving by light aircraft so you spend your time in the parks rather than on the road. Walking safaris in South Luangwa, canoeing on the Lower Zambezi, big cats on the Busanga Plains, and the Falls at the start while the spray is still a novelty.
Day by day
- Day 1
Arrive Livingstone
Arrive at Harry Mwanga Nkumbula International Airport and transfer to Tongabezi Lodge. Settle in and enjoy a sunset cruise on the Zambezi River.
- Day 2
Victoria Falls Exploration
Guided tour of Mosi-oa-Tunya (Victoria Falls), one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. Afternoon at leisure or optional activities.
- Day 3
Livingstone Activities
Full day of activities including river cruises, cultural village visits, and wildlife encounters at the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park.
- Day 4
Fly to Kafue National Park
Morning flight to Kafue National Park. Transfer to Chisa Busanga Camp. Afternoon game drive in the Busanga Plains.
- Day 5
Kafue Game Drives
Full day of game drives in the Busanga Plains, known for large lion prides, leopards, and vast herds of antelope.
- Day 6
Kafue Exploration
Morning and afternoon game drives. Optional walking safari with experienced guides.
- Day 7
Transfer to South Luangwa
Fly to South Luangwa National Park. Transfer to Mfuwe Lodge. Evening game drive.

South Luangwa Safari
Morning and afternoon game drives in South Luangwa, famous for walking safaris and leopard sightings.
- Day 9
Walking Safari
Experience an authentic walking safari with armed guides. Afternoon game drive along the Luangwa River.

South Luangwa Continued
Full day of safari activities. Night drive to spot nocturnal wildlife.
- Day 11
Fly to Lower Zambezi
Morning flight to Lower Zambezi National Park. Transfer to Chiawa Camp. Afternoon canoeing safari.

Lower Zambezi Activities
Choice of activities including game drives, canoeing, fishing, and walking safaris.

Departure
Final morning activity. Transfer to the airstrip for your flight to Lusaka and onward connections.
